Copenhagen Puppet Festival

2011 was an eventful year, and we hope that 2012 will be just as spectacular.

Here is something to look forward to:

Maria Suh and Barnaby Stig Swann Pedersen, festival directors of Copenhagen Puppet Festival, received in 2011 several acknowledgements for their work to bring puppet theatre to a broader audience, and especially an adult audience. Even the new Danish Culture Minister has praised Copenhagen Puppet festival. Hear the interview from P1 “The Culture Office” here (Danish only).

Maria Suh and Barnaby Stig Swann Pedersen will receive their honorary membership from UNIMA Denmark on the 22nd of January, 2012, at the Puppet Cabaret, which takes place at 16.00, at Kulturanstalten, Lyrskovgade 4, 1758 Copenhagen V, in “Salen” – 3rd floor. We look forward to seeing you at the Puppet Jr. which will take place in Copenhagen urban spaces in Vesterbro, Bispebjerg, Nørrebro and Amager. We would like to remind you that we DO NOT RECEIVE APPLICATIONS FOR PUPPET JUNIOR OR COPENHAGEN PUPPET FESTIVAL.
