Blind Summit Theatre (UK)
Puppets with hang-ups and hangovers …Five down-and-outs in a bar give an impression of the world seen from puppet height. Meet, amongst others, Bud the action plumber, a flirtatious diva who drinks to forget and the puppet Kevin who thinks his wife is a dog.
Blind Summit is proclaimed as one of Britain´s leading puppet groups and finds its inspiration in Japanese Bunraku. The puppet is typically animated by three puppeteers, and the group is known for their close interplay between puppet and puppeteer.
“If puppetry is ever the new rock´n´roll, these animators could very well be the frontrunners”.
