In Denmark there is no recognized professional training for puppeteers. We focus on this in a series of workshops up to and during this years festival: two for trained and professional puppeteers where you can aquire new techniques for free, and one with students of puppetry from abroad where it will be possible for the public to follow their work processes.
The workshops will be led by professional puppeteers from England, Poland and Germany. For further information, please look at the menu to the left.
To emphasise the fact that we do not have a puppet education in Danmark this year Copenhagen Puppet Festival will also host a seminar on education which offers demonstrations and insights into traditions abroad.
